What is a Lines & Wrinkles Consultation?

Lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes are a natural part of how the face moves and ages. A Lines & Wrinkles Consultation is a face-to-face appointment with Dr Abes Nassiri to understand what is causing your lines and what could help.

Dr Abes assesses your skin quality, volume, muscle movement and facial symmetry, listens to what you would like to change, and explains every suitable option — including the possible benefits, risks and alternatives, and the choice of doing nothing at all. Some options for expression lines are prescription-only medicines. These are only ever prescribed where clinically appropriate, after this face-to-face consultation.

Dr Abes Nassiri is a double board certified aesthetic doctor and qualified PharmD with a strong foundation in clinical medicine and facial anatomy. His approach is centred on subtle refinement rather than overcorrection, so results look refreshed and proportionate.

Depending on what he finds, he may suggest options that do not need a prescription, such as Skin Boosters for hydration and texture, Collagen Stimulators to support firmness, Dermal Fillers where lost volume is deepening a line, or a Full Face Harmonisation plan. How much does the consultation cost?

Consultations with Dr Abes are £50. If you decide to go ahead with a treatment, the £50 is deducted from the treatment cost.

What happens at the consultation?

Dr Abes takes your medical history, assesses your skin, volume, muscle movement and facial symmetry, and explains the options that could suit you, along with their risks and alternatives.

Will I be treated on the day?

Not necessarily. Any treatment that needs a prescription is only prescribed where clinically appropriate, after a face-to-face consultation with Dr Abes. He will talk you through the next steps and you are free to take time to decide.

What options are there for lines and wrinkles?

It depends on the cause. Options may include prescription treatments, discussed at consultation, and non-prescription treatments such as Skin Boosters, Collagen Stimulators and Dermal Fillers. Dr Abes will explain which, if any, are suitable for you.

Are there side effects?

Every treatment option carries possible side effects. Swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness where the treatment was given can occur and usually settle on their own. Rare complications are possible with any injectable treatment; Dr Abes explains these, and how they are managed, at your consultation.

Who is suitable?

Treatment is only for adults over 18 and is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Some medical conditions and medicines may also affect suitability, so Dr Abes reviews your medical history before recommending anything.

Do you see men as well as women?

Yes. Consultations are for both male and female clients.
