
It is important that you inform us of ANY medication or medical conditions you may have before booking your facial treatment. The following are examples of contraindications that may prevent or restrict certain treatments:
- Pregnancy
- Prone to keloid scarring
- Currently using acne medication, including prescription or over-the-counter creams and antibiotics
- Recently taken Roaccutane (you must have stopped taking it for at least a year)
- Using retinols, benzoyl peroxide, or AHA/BHA’s less than one week before the treatment
- Active cold sore
- Bacterial or fungal infection
- Sty or conjunctivitis
- Active eczema or psoriasis on the face
- History of eczema on the face
- History of psoriasis anywhere on the body
- Fresh bruising on the face
- Autoimmune diseases
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Recent sunbathing, sunburn, or use of sunbeds (within 1-2 weeks before the treatment)
- Cancer
- Contagious diseases
